GlobalTexas has welcomed international visitors to Texas for over 60 years. Originally designed to support international students at the University of Texas, a vast majority of today's programs are developed in cooperation with with U.S. Department of State and the International Visitor Leadership Program. Each year, GlobalTexas hosts over 200 rising leaders from around the world, connecting them with professional resources to learn from experts, share best practices, and build relationships to sustain continued growth and development in their home country. We also connect these international leaders with our network of volunteers who graciously host and share an intimate look into the divers range of cultures Austin and Houston, Texas, and the United States has to offer.
